Can I go back to Montréal?
Greetings from the land of moving boxes and packing tape. I’m singing love songs to my overtaxed air conditioners and wishing that I was back in Montréal. I needed that trip.
Alas, the movers are coming next week, and I must be ready for them. I suppose I should thank the heatwave. If it’s not making the actual physical work of moving easy, it is definitely making me look forward to heading to New Hampshire for the rest of the summer. My last several summers have been endured; I’m looking forward to celebrating this one.

I am *this* close to finishing This Time Tomorrow. I rather love Emma Staub’s take on time travel—it seemed like it was going to be one story, and it turned into something else entirely. While I don’t yet know how it ends, I’d still recommend it.
Upcoming
In order to spare you posts on packing tape and sweaty swearing, it’s going to be a quiet week on the blog. We’ll have one last Sundry Wonders post from here, and maybe an update if something strikes me as interesting. Otherwise, regular posting resumes next week.
Stay cool, everyone!
