Gotcha! What My Rescue Dog Ollie Has Taught Me

Ollie and I celebrated his third Gotcha Day last week, with a puppy cake, toys, a long walk, and snuggles galore. I honestly can’t imagine my life without him. Last winter, I wrote about what lead up to my adopting Ollie in a post that could help you if you’re considering adopting a rescue. For this post, I’m writing about what Ollie’s taught me about life. We rescue each other, our rescue dogs and us. I do so love my Ollie Wally Doodlebug. Sundry Wonders: Dizzy in Time

Sundry Wonders recounts what I saw and thought along my walks with Ollie over the past week. Photos taken with a Fujifilm X-T4 (very much a beginner) or my Pixel 5 phone (if we walked in the middle of the day, or I was in a bit of a rush). I’d love to hear about and see what you experienced this week. Let me know in the comments!

Small Spaces: My Vintage Pink and Black Bathroom

My small-space vintage pink and black bathroom makes me want black feather heeled slippers, a lacy robe, and perhaps a cigarette holder. Also a perfect bouffant. It’s really something, my loo. When you have a rental, you have two choices with such a retro bathroom: try to hide it, or go with it. I’m 100% in. Ollie and the Donut of Shame

My poor little Ollie helped himself to some rogue snacks, and wound up needing surgery!
