Why You'll Love It

Just outside Park Ribnjak, you’ll spy a statue of a man leaning nonchalantly against a pillar. You guessed it—it’s another statue honoring a Croatian writer! August Šenoa was a prominent Croatian writer and poet, and he was born on Vlaška Street, where you’ll find this statue.
Marija Ujević-Galetović, a prominent sculptor and painter from Zagreb created the statue in 1987.
