There are approixmately 700 graves remaining in the cemetery, the oldest dating back to the early eighteenth century and the last dated 1945. This Shepardic cemetery is the oldest Jewish cemetery in Croatia and is one of the oldest remaining Jewish cemeteries in Europe.
