The Riva Split is one of many things to do in Split, Croatia. Images shows the Riva promenade at sunset. Palm trees and tourists are in visible, as are buildings in the hills beyond.

Split’s seaside promenade

Absolutely Wonderful

Why You'll Love It

When Napoleon held this region, the French built a promenade along the seaside and the outer walls of Diocletian’s Palace. Today, it’s lined with palm trees, outdoor terraces, boats, and loads of tourists. You might even see a demonstration or two. It’s a lovely walk and a great spot to catch a sunset (preferably with a drink).
