Cerro San Cristóbal (Santiago Metropolitan Park)

The best views of Santiago!

Absolutely Wonderful

Why You'll Love It

Santiago’s largest greenspace forms the Parque Metropolitano, and Cerro San Cristóbal is the highest peak at 850m. From the top of this hill, marked with a statue of the Virgin Mary, you’ll get the best views of Santiago.
I didn’t go, but you’ll see the Zoo while riding the funicular. There is also a Japanese garden and an attraction aimed at children.

Take the funicular to get you most of the way up the hill (take the cable car, too!).
