Rossio

An impressive square in the heart of Lisbon

Highly Recommended

Why You'll Love It

Rossio Square, distinguished by the wavy distinctly Lisbon pavers, a fountain and statues, as well as the train station to go to Sintra, is flanked by impressive architecture and cafés like Café Nicola, one of the oldest in the city.

Rossio is touristy, but also distinctly Lisbon. Definitely worth checking out and having a coffee or just sitting in the square to watch the world go by.

Know Before You Go

This is less of a neighborhood, and more just the square. Still definitely worth checking out for the architecture alone
